Jim and Pam are in a category all to their own for hosting.   Outstanding courtesy, cleanliness, attention to detail throughout.  We have stayed in many Airbnbs and this home also belongs in a category all to its own. The unequaled privacy and relaxing feel of a farm coupled with the interior comforts of home make for a very unique experience.  Enjoy the early AM coffee overlooking the fields and woods in the rocking chairs listening to the sounds of nature - but nicely enclosed in the screened in porch made for some enjoyable mornings with the wife while the kids slept away in the very comfortable beds. We highly recommend this property if you are like us and treat everyone’s home like your own and want a top notch host that also appreciates respectful guests.  Enjoy!

We have rented a lot of homes for vacation stays, and Dock Barnard Farm was by far the best!  Pam and Jim are exceptional hosts, and their care and expertise shows in the beautifully renovated farmstead and how well everything is clean and organized. They go out of their way to be helpful; providing the history of the farmstead to suggesting local attractions. The property is large and quiet, which allowed us to truly relax and recharge. We enjoyed walking the country roads and meeting the  closest neighbors, Jim’s herd of cows and the kitty who lives in the barn down the road. We spent lots of time on the porch drinking our morning coffee and listening to the sounds of summer in the evening. The farm is a short ride to Franklin where you can find shopping and restaurants if you don’t feel like cooking, and is a great base for exploring the area. We will definitely be back!

This was a really nice little house. It has everything you need for a small family and very clean. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the place and enjoyed our stay here. Jim and Pam were very pleasant hosts and very accommodating. There are lots of birds to enjoy and in the evening it was awesome to go outside and see all the fireflys. I have been renting on VRBO for many years and this property is #1 for clean and immaculate. Many others "think" they are clean, but the attention to detail is just not there. Loved the property location, privacy and peacefulness and plenty of essentials were provided for our time there.
